Lizard is a new house constructed in the traditional pueblo style with ceiling beams, kiva fireplace, and a tiled floor.

Lizard faces out toward the west meadow and the setting sun.

Lizard has 1 king bedroom, 1 queen with 1 single, and 1 queen sofa bed in living room.

1 bath.

Private patio with view of Jemez mountains.

Description:

Lizard is a new house but constructed of traditional adobe with ceiling beams and a traditional adobe fireplace.

The patio and living room look out over the east meadow with wind mobile and the Jemez mountain range in the background across the Rio Grande valley. At night the sparkling lights are on the Los Alamos mesa - perched just above the horizon line. In the late afternoons of summer, thunder storms bunch up in the mountain folds and frequently make their way across the valley to Rancho Jacona.

The portal is roofed and framed with pine postas (posts), vigas (beams), and sawn corbels.

Inside, the main living/dining/kitchen area is entirely open so that no one gets abandoned in the kitchen.

The two bedrooms sandwich a shared bathroom. The bedroom windows look out across the east meadow with the Sangre de Cristo range as the background.

Lizard has nearby patio access to additional bedrooms, A and B, that may be rented in connection with a house rental. Each is a queen bedroom with full bath.

- next Turtle and Lizard Casitas
- not far from the pool
- not far from the rabbit pen
- not far from the children's play area
- not far from the acequia
